Our goal at The Montana Education Program is to empower the youth in our community to have the skills and the

ability to make good decisions, discover their own moral code and be able to take care of themselves when they are an adult.
With this goal in mind, we are moving forward with several weeks of helping the kids learn how to be more responsible and socially active. We also dove into teaching them how to tell time on an analog clock.
Last week, we created a Chore Chart, divided everyone into teams and cleaned the office. We taught them how to wash dishes, sweep & mop, disinfect door knobs and light switches and how to clean the bathroom. They were not completely amused with these tasks, but they went forward with gusto and did in 20 minutes what takes Katie and Angela several hours by themselves. Thanks team!
Creating Vision Boards has been an important part of our teachings and encouraging the kids to have goals and think about their future.
