There have been a lot of fun and exciting activities happening with the after school and homeschool programs in September.
After planting and transplanting seeds, the kids got busy creating a wood and wire jewelry hanger. They put together tongue and groove boards to create a 2' x 3' product and painted beautiful scenes on the wood (some with glitter for a little bling!).

Add a little mod podge over the paint and the glitter will stay in place (good news for parents who don't want glitter all over the house!)
They then stapled small mesh wire onto the wood where they can hang earrings.
They also got creative and added hooks for necklaces and rope at the top where they can hang pictures with small clothespins.
